In Any Event, Inc. started up in March 2005 and hit the ground running. I was hired by Inpop Records to assist in planning several Gospel Music Week events for their roster of artists, including Mat Kearney, Shane & Shane and Superchic(k). In addition to coordinating and running the media suite for the week I organized a VIP reception prior to a large showcase - the Indie Spirit Event - at Rocketown. The busy week was tiring but successful!
In July of 2005 a new client approached me for help in planning a 1st birthday party for her daughter. Together we developed the theme - a fun luau which included a Hibiscus shaped cake, floral leis for the attendees and hand-made gift bags for the kids.
A new relationship began in October of 2005 when the non-profit group Blood:Water Mission enlisted me to coordinate their Board Retreats. Blood:Water was created by the group Jars of Clay in __ with the intent of providing clean blood and clean water to those in dire need of both in Africa. They are an absolutely wonderful organization, and more information about their work can be found at: http://bloodwatermission.org/. In order to make the retreats as easy as possible for the staff I handled all of the details including securing the locations and providing all of the food for the weekend.
Additionally, throughout the first several months of the year I worked alongside the fabulous staff at CJ's Off the Square, an event venue in Franklin, TN. With them I assisted at numerous weddings and events to ensure that their standard of excellence was met for their vast clientele.
