A 1st Birthday Party

One of the most enjoyable and rewarding events I was enlisted to plan was a first birthday party for young Theo Bays in October. What a joy to be a part of this significant and memorable occasion! Greg and Jennifer Bays of Franklin, TN asked me to plan the party from beginning to end, and I endeavored to do so in such a way to allow them to actually enjoy it themselves. It is so important that every client is able to rely on me to take care of the details so they're able to delight in their celebration.

I managed the details for this party including securing the venue, developing the theme, making the decorations by hand, providing home-made gift bags for each child and ordering the food served. As always I handled the set-up and clean-up so that Greg and Jen could enjoy themselves and fellowship with their guests.


Judging by the cake on Theo's sweet face I'd say he enjoyed it immensely!

Going Strong in 2006

In late 2005 Blood:Water Mission again tapped me to oversee and plan their first fundraising banquet. Together we hosted this event for the organization's donors and supporters in February of 2006 at Michael W. Smith's farm. I came up with the creative direction of the banquet, including the decorations, table settings, programs and hand-made thank you gifts as well as handled the details like the catering and rentals. With over 100 guests in attendance the evening was a huge success for this wonderful non-profit, and I was incredibly pleased to have been a part of it.

In a note received after the event, Blood:Water's Executive Director, Jena Lee Nardella, wrote:

"You are absolutely AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for your hard work, creativity and organization of our banquet. The evening completely exceeded my expectations! I had so many people come up to tell me that it was by far the best event they had been a part of. I am so thankful for you and the ways you have served Blood:Water Mission. It was simply fantastic. Thank you so much!"

Needless to say, I was the one who was honored.

A new website

Finally it's here - a brand new website for my company, In Any Event, Inc. This is my first post so I'm testing things out. In the future I hope to provide information, photographs and detailed updates about current and past events. Hope you'll enjoy!
